# Creators

> How creators join and participate in the EVO Dialed platform

Creators are content creators who produce sponsored content for brands through EVO. They access the platform primarily through the iOS app.

## Creator lifecycle

```
┌─────────────┐     ┌─────────────┐     ┌─────────────┐     ┌─────────────┐
│  Discovery  │────▶│  Onboarding │────▶│   Active    │────▶│  Graduated  │
│             │     │             │     │             │     │  /Removed   │
└─────────────┘     └─────────────┘     └─────────────┘     └─────────────┘
```

### Discovery

Creators find EVO through:

* **Ambassador referrals** - Existing creators share invite links
* **Job board applications** - Applying to public brand deals
* **Direct invites** - EVO team sends personal invitations

### Onboarding

New creators complete a 26-screen onboarding wizard:

1. Basic information (name, email, phone)
2. Social account connection (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
3. Content niche and experience
4. Platform quiz (knowledge check)
5. Agreement acceptance

<Note>
  Social accounts require operator approval before they're active for scraping.
</Note>

### Active

Active creators have:

* Access to brand hubs for their deals
* Dashboard showing performance metrics
* Chat access to brand channels
* Strategy documents for each brand
* Ability to submit content for approval

### Graduated/Removed

Creators leave the platform when:

* Brand deals complete naturally
* Performance issues lead to removal (with reason codes)
* Creator chooses to leave

## Creator tiers

Creators earn tiers based on cumulative performance across brand deals:

| Tier           | Requirement                | Benefits                               |
| -------------- | -------------------------- | -------------------------------------- |
| **Galaxy** | Top performers, 50M+ views | Premium brand access, priority support |
| **Moonwalker** | 10M+ cumulative views      | Mid-tier brand deals                   |
| **Rocket**     | 1M+ cumulative views       | Standard brand deals                   |
| **Beginner**   | New creators               | Entry-level opportunities              |

Tiers affect:

* Which brand deals are visible
* Chat room access (tier-specific rooms)
* Priority in matching algorithms

## Social accounts

Creators connect social platforms to track their content:

### Supported platforms

* **TikTok** - Primary platform, OAuth or scrape
* **Instagram** - Reels and posts
* **YouTube** - Shorts and videos
* **Facebook** - Reels (via scraping)

### Connection types

| Type       | Description               | Refresh rate    |
| ---------- | ------------------------- | --------------- |
| **OAuth**  | Creator authorizes access | Hourly          |
| **Scrape** | EVO scrapes public data   | Daily (10pm ET) |

### Approval workflow

1. Creator connects account
2. Account enters `pending` approval status
3. Operator reviews and approves/rejects
4. Approved accounts begin syncing

## Brand memberships

Creators are assigned to **brands**, not individual campaigns:

```
Creator ──▶ BrandCreatorMembership ──▶ Brand
                    │
                    ├── status (active/removed)
                    ├── placements_cadence (daily count)
                    └── onboarded_at
```

This means:

* A creator can work with multiple brands simultaneously
* Campaigns run under brands, creators see all their brand's campaigns
* Removal from a brand removes access to all its campaigns

## Creator dashboard

The iOS app dashboard shows:

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Brand hubs" icon="building">
    One hub per active brand with strategy, chat, and stats
  </Card>

  <Card title="Performance metrics" icon="chart-line">
    Views, engagement, placement counts
  </Card>

  <Card title="Notifications" icon="bell">
    Alerts, approvals, and announcements
  </Card>

  <Card title="Leaderboard" icon="trophy">
    Monthly rankings within brands
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Content workflow

1. **Post content** - Creator posts to their social platforms
2. **Automatic detection** - System scrapes and detects new posts
3. **Attribution** - Posts attributed to active campaigns
4. **Metrics tracking** - Views, likes, comments tracked over time
5. **Approval (optional)** - Some brands require pre-approval

See [Content workflow](/platform/content-workflow) for details.

## Flags and compliance

Creators may receive flags for:

* Missing posting cadence
* Low engagement rates
* Content policy violations

| Flag type  | Visibility    | Action required          |
| ---------- | ------------- | ------------------------ |
| **Yellow** | Creator sees | Acknowledge on brand hub |
| **Red** | Internal only | Admin review required |

Yellow flags lock brand hub chat until acknowledged.

## Support

Creators get support through:

* **In-app chat** - Direct messaging with community managers
* **Zendesk** - Formal support tickets via `/support` link
* **Coach booking** - 1:1 calls with creator coaches (Calendly)
